My name is Kevin, and this has been my experience with Acquire the Legacy Counseling Center. At first I believe that God led me to Dorothy for counseling. When I looked in the phone book for a counselor I knew, I wanted a Christian counselor; because it was going to take a miracle to fix this big mass that was my life. I was separated from my wife at the time and just having problems with every part of my life. I was also drinking and using a drug on a daily basis. I was very, very beat up and very much hurting and hating inside. I had never felt this bad in my life. It was a very short time after meeting Dorothy and James that I knew I was in the right place. Dorothy assured me in a very loving Christian way that everything was going to be okay and reminded me of something I knew but had forgotten, and that was that Jesus loved me no matter what and that he could help with anything and everything.

After a few counseling sessions I asked my wife if she would come with me and she agreed to go.  Very shortly after that we were backed living under the same roof. Since then, God has done nothing but amazed me. My relationship with my wife still has a ways to go but I know we are on the right track. We recently went to a special service at a church and watched five of six children get saved. Me and my wife are still going to counseling and we both absolutely love Dorothy and James and consider them part of our family. Dorothy, I can't even put into words the appreciation I feel towards you.   I have never felt this good in my life for once through God and his precious Holy Spirit I actually like the who I am becoming. So just let me end by saying thank you Dorothy and James for being obedient Christians and being there for me and my family.   Thank you, love you Kevin
